This hotel and exec apartments is extremely unethical. Despite having a long term reservation, they are terminating my reservation because of large conferences coming in and they can get much more money than my long term rate. Just canceled it even though I have a written agreement! Most of the employees are very good but the management is horrible and only money oriented, not customer service oriented at all. They told me I could return in a few weeks! Gee, thanks. Not a chance. Going to the real 5 star property Hilton Hotel and Residences where they treat their good customers with respect and dignity.I will never ever put any of my employees in this property again. They don’t/wont respond to emails because they know they are wrong. Please don’t go to this hotel simply out of ethical reasons. There is a very nice new Radisson Blu hotel just down the street. Go there. Please.

I had an exceptional experience at this hotel, thanks to the incredibly friendly and professional staff. A special shoutout to Basma, whose politeness, warm demeanor, and helpful attitude truly stood out. The way she communicated made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making your stay perfect. Thank you, Basma, and the entire team for making my visit so memorable. Highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service

This hotel is perfect! I have not been at a better hotel in SA than this one. I stayed for 6 months in the apartment. It’s spacious, clean sound proof and all amenities incl detergent sponge etc are replenished by friendly and responsive staff who all speak English. Breakfast has a big variety with an egg station and even manuka honey. The lounge access is great with a variety of food provided between 17:30-19:30. The food repeats every 8 days though. All staff are polite and helpful and I say thanks to them all!

Absolutely outstanding in every way. Having been to hundreds of Marriott hotels around the world, this has to be at the top for service. Every employee, from the great guys that welcome you when you arrive to the excellent people at the front desk and reception to the restaurants and lounges performs at the highest level.Every employee greets you with a smile and by your name! It’s truly remarkable. This hotel is the cleanest I have ever seen and always smells so good. Every employee is working, cleaning, welcoming guests, and ensuring each guest is treated like the most valuable and important guest in the entire hotel. There are some people who must be acknowledged because they are such incredible representatives of the hotel and the Marriott brand:Khalid at the front desk- just an absolute gentleman who is excellent at his job. He knows how to get things done and always with a smile. He is such a wonderful person and great to see the first thing every morning.Nelson in the main restaurant- wow, what customer service. Perhaps the kindest young man I have ever met and will ensure you have absolutely everything you could ever want.Joel in the executive lounge- I’ve never seen someone who works so hard and takes such pride in his work. Joes is extremely personable and has a smile that will light up a room. I went to the lounge just to see Joel to make my day better.Saad in the lounge and front desk- he is like the Marriott Ambassador who greets everyone with a genuine interest and makes sure everything is running smoothly. What a great person in every way.As you can see, my time at this excellent hotel and long term stay executive apartments was perfection. The breakfast buffet is incredible with more selection than I’ve ever seen anywhere. And, if you don’t see it, they will make it for you special! The executive lounge has incredible food of the highest quality and the selection. Ha he’s every day. Really a great place to have a full meal or a snack.I’d recommend getting a room with the executive lounge access. It’s very convenient and completely worth it. Rooms are very modern, extremely clean, and well supplied. I cannot find one thing that needs improvement in this absolutely outstanding hotel. They have perfected customer service and treat everyone as if they were the most important guest.Well done Marriott Diplomatic Quarter. You have achieved something that is extremely rare and hard to do, but you have earned 5 Stars ⭐️ in every category. The staff and customer service is just that great.

Dear Marriott Team,I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Marriott DQ Riyadh, during which I encountered significant issues that require your immediate attention.Upon using my valuable points for the stay, I faced a distressing situation. The water in the shower was visibly dirty, as evidenced in the attached video. Furthermore, the water used for washing my face contained an alarming amount of dust, posing potential risks to my skin and overall health. In light of these concerns, I approached the Marriott DQ team, requesting an upgrade to the residential section for a cleaner water supply and reimbursement of points for my inconvenience. Regrettably, my request was denied, leaving me dissatisfied with the level of service provided.Thank you for your understanding and assistance.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter and was thoroughly impressed with both the room and the service. From the very smooth and welcoming reception to the thoughtful gestures, everything was exceptional. The welcoming sweet was simply amazing and perfectly timed. Just as we finished lunch and were planning to go out for coffee and dessert, a server knocked on our door and presented us with the best macarons I have ever tasted. This level of attention to detail truly enhanced our experience, making our stay memorable. The Marriott Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter offers unparalleled service and hospitality. Highly recommended!

I always love coming back here. Their staff is kind, professional and show genuine care. The hotel director is fantastic. I noticed she takes the time to greet all tables during breakfast while she engages with guests. It feels more like home rather than a regular hotel. I come back as often as possible. Sometimes just for a coffee, a staycay or even to visit friends staying here.Congratulations! You are doing an amazing job!

Company Iftar gathering. The buffet was amazing and the selections were massive. Great service by the staff and kitchen crew. However the Lebanese manager (I didn’t get his name) was very arrogant. Service professionals should be humble and attend to anyone’s needs no matter what.Valet parking didn’t have a sign nor did they inform us of the charges, they were nice enough to waive them though!

During my stay at the Marriott DQ, I had the pleasure of interacting with an exceptional staff who truly went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. The housekeeping team was superb, attending to every detail and ensuring that my room felt like a second home. Their attentiveness made it feel as close to home as possible. I want to give special thanks to Rashed, Chirag, and Atul for their exemplary service under the leadership of Janbaz ensured that my stay was comfortable and stress-free.The breakfast at Goji Kitchen is in a league of its own. Whether you're maintaining a healthy lifestyle with fresh fruits and vegetables, indulging in freshly baked goods, or enjoying cold cuts, the choices are endless. The Arabian breakfast, eggs made to order, and a hearty selection of sausages (chicken, lamb, or beef) and beef bacon cater to every palate. For those with young, picky eaters, the pancakes and waffles with various toppings are sure to please. The chefs at Goji Kitchen are remarkable, but I'd like to single out Chef Vincent for his diverse and delicious creations, and Chef Akter, whose Indian cuisine is phenomenal—on par with the best Indian food I've had in Saudi Arabia. The service is equally exceptional, with Marvin and Yograj providing attentive care, remembering guest routines, and making each meal delightful. They, along with Jay, are particular about health and hygiene, ensuring an immaculate dining experience. All of this excellence is under the astute leadership of Mr. Mohammed, who greets every guest with a warm smile in his suit. The Executive Lounge offered a top-tier experience, largely due to Joel, the Jack of all Trades of hospitality. Joel’s friendly demeanor, keen memory for guest preferences, and willingness to assist with all manner of tasks, especially operating the coffee machines, made each visit pleasant for guest. His cheerful attitude was always a highlight. During my stay, the quality of the food in the lounge improved significantly. However, I did notice that some guests missed the Perrier carbonated water, which had been replaced with another brand.Ashiref made a lasting impression from day one, always ready to help with bags, suitcases, food, or any other need, ensuring a hassle-free journey to my room and engaging in wonderful conversations. The car valet service was outstanding. Each time I picked up my car, the seat and air conditioning were just as I left them, ensuring a comfortable drive. Special thanks to Emon, Hussaim, Richard, Abbul, Shabbir, and Bilal for their excellent service and attention to detail.Every morning, Momun exemplified dedication by promptly opening the Saray Spa’s gym and ensuring everything was in order. His attention to detail ensured that clean towels were available, the gym was spotless, and hydration stations were well-stocked. The spa manager’s consistent warm greetings and updates on spa specials added a personal touch that enhanced my experience during my stay. The front desk staff were efficient and professional, ensuring that I was always informed about my billing and addressing any concerns promptly. A special thank you to Ahmed and Ali for their attentive service. Reem from AYS (Marriott chat system) provided invaluable assistance with various requests, making my stay even more comfortable. The maintenance team worked tirelessly to keep the hotel in prime condition. However, my rest was occasionally interrupted by false positive fire alarm in my room multiple times. Although inconvenient, the loud alarms assured me of my safety. Quality Manager Minna addressed the issue by promising Marriott points for each disrupted night, which helped ease my frustration.Marriott DQ's greeters, especially Saad, ensured a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel manager’s dedication to promoting fitness among guests was clear and appreciated, helping me stay on track with my fitness goals. In summary, my stay at the Marriott DQ was made extraordinary by the phenomenal staff and their commitment to excellence in every aspect of hospitality.

Rented a meeting space in the executive lounge. It was really good, including many delicious snacks and coffee for a good price of 650 SAR/hr. Would recommend for short corporate meetings, the meeting room can hold up to 10-12 people. Friendly staff and quality service.

We went for Iftar diner. The buffet was quite nice but the food selection is limited. The service is exquisite! And very refined. The staff amazing. But I would say it is quit sober priced.

During my stay at the Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter - Marriott, Saudi Arabia, was never short of superior. Most hotels make you feel as if the staff is forced to cater to you, NOT HERE, every day I walk to breakfast greeted with a smile and the willingness to ask how I was doing (it did not feel forced or overbearing at all) Food was Amazing! I did not catch his name but got the Ramen for breakfast, he knows what he is doing, and he is proud of it. The cleaning service was top notch, I typically just leave do not disturb on my door but due to a lengthy stay and work every 3 days I would allow it and they rocked and respected my privacy. I would 100% stay only here if I came back, even for vacation.Notable Staff:Mr. Anit - Always standing outside and ready, he was the first one to help after a long trip to get here, he is a hard worker and loves to help people. I enjoyed telling him "No, I got it". He was a good sport about it too.Mr. Rana and Mr. Joel - Cigar lounge and Executive lounge, many times I would just sit there and talk to them, if they got in trouble for this sorry it was my fault. Super friendly guys and always willing to go that extra mile, you two will be missed Mr. Rana, go home you just got Married and Mr. Joel Send me the link to that coffee maker!!.Mr. Jay and Mr. Marvin - Coffee for breakfast, It was fun always changing my orders on them. They always remembered the day before, but I would change it. We laughed but the drinks were always amazing and what I needed to Start my day.Ms. Onasis and Mr. Rawan - Breakfast and lunch desk- coming around the corner to see you two smile was almost better than the food. So friendly, amazingly young people and I hope you continue to feel people's life with joy. These two learned my name, knew where I wanted to sit and shared stories with me. I really enjoyed these two working together, especially talking to them to start my day.

I went to enjoy coffee and hotel restaurant but I ended up being bugged out by the staff! No hospitality concepts I had to pull information and help from front office staff as they didn’t care! The F&B manager or a supervisor an Egyptian guy kept giving staff hard time openly while we were sitting and it was annoying and he was rude to them and treated them in way that made me uncomfortable. Also he felt discussing team roster and new hire just like that. I wonder if there’s a back office for staff? Anyhow I was expecting more from you! But staff need training. Good luck

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the supervisor, Professor Louay, for his good service to us. This is our first visit to the place and it will not be the last time, God willing. The hotel is beautiful and tidy and the service is beyond wonderful. Malak

Nice location. Nice pool. Decent gym place. And few coffee areas inside the hotel including outdoor 10:10 lounge ✌🏼

Excellent breakfast spread. Everything very well prepared. Diplomatic quarter is its own nice enclave but relatively far from certain areas of the city.

It's my third time booking a meeting room and it won't be the last for sure and I thought that I should share my experience throughout all of the 3 times I can only describe it as an incredible experience which cannot be accomplished without the help of the awesome teamThey were committed, helpful and proactiveSpecial thanks to Mr. Nasser, Mr. Bander and Mr. AnandThank you!

Reem M — Google review

I was charged twice for my stay and 6 weeks later I'm still waiting for a refund with absolutely zero response to my repeated follow up emails to the hotel front office. This is fraud and unacceptable for any hotel group let alone being a Marriott property. Repeated requests to the Ambassador team has also not yielded any result. Best to avoid this property as no customer service whatsoever.
